I did myself the test (first I saved my iron portable folder) download the iron portable installer, run it, pointing to the same portable iron folder > all the settings are still the old ones.

You should be able to import from Iron if you replace the Chrome profile folder with Iron's: Check for, download and install the latest stable Iron revisions Extension to check for, download and install the latest revisions of the 'SRWare Iron'-Browser. You can import from Chrome, but not other builds like Iron.

This means that you need to follow the update announcements and install updates manually.

Now it just thinks it's a file that can't be found.
